Roman National Museum - Discobolus of Myron

Discobolus of Myron. Modern reconstruction of the original statue of the 5th century B.C. Coupled bronze-painted plaster casts.

Collected and created by Rome, Roman National Museum.

Plaster cast from specimen founded in 1906 in the Castel Porziano was added by means of casts:

The head from Lancelotti;

Right arm of copy from the Casa Buonarotti (Florence);

and foots from the British Museum.

It is not a easy work in that time, but it was created by many parts.
